I added this page so that I can share information about our little club we have. We travel around Georgia and fish a little tournament between ourselves. We do it a little different we fish for both bass and crappie. This page is a work in progress so keep checking back. This photo is the boat i use the fish the big lakes.
Westpoint Lake 3/27/2010
We started fishing around Yellow Jacket Creek and moved down toward the Highland Marina area before we decided to take out and trailer the boat to Ringer recreation area. Located up the river on the Chattahoochee river. Above is Robert and Randall fishing Westpoint Lake. We did not have any luck until we moved up to Ringer recreation area and found an area with two bridges close together. We fished in 4' of water and they started hitting a jig tipped with minnows. The color was pink and white, and yellow and green. We caught 12 crappie in short time. We did well enough to with our little tournament.
I can't wait till April when we go to Lake Lanier. It's all about having fun.
