Well I didn't catch as many as I would have liked. I caught one. It was about 2 lbs. It was a very nice reservior to fish. I will go back many more times. I did not have much time to fish, only 3 hours. Above is my little bass and I've added a couple of videos, not of me catching fish though.

Hollis Latham Reservoir 3/20/2010
The fist day of spring I spent the morning fishing Hollis Latham Reservoir located in Cherokee County with my friend Shane. We have never fished the lake before. I read reports about the bass hitting 100 series crank baits off the shore line so we gave it a try. We didn't catch a thing using crank baits or worms. But we switched to our old reliable 1/8 chartreuse/pepper jig and we started catching fish. It doesn't matter where we fish it seems like we can rely on that particular jig to catch something. Don't ask what brand! Some things I have to keep secret.
It was a beautiful morning as you can see. When we arrived we found about 7-8 boats waiting at the fence to get in. The park is open from 8 to 5 and you have to be off the water by 4:30. A group of jon boates were having a little tournament going on. They asked if we were fishing the tournament. If we could have stayed longer we probably would have fished the tournament, but we needed to get off the water by 12:30. It has a nice boat ramp with a little dock. Shane liked the dock because it had a step down platform that makes it easier to get in your boat from the dock.
Overall I will go back and fish Hollis Latham. We caught 7 bass with only two keepers. We probably would have had more keepers but we found them late in the morning. We seem to have our best luck with the jigs. Everybody we ran accross on the water seem to be using plastic worms. The ones we talked to had not caught anything. We tried crank baits, worms and the only thing that worked was jigs. Most of the bass will be from 9-11 inches. This will be a great lake to go bream fishing on. You will have some kayakers on the lake but the lake is big enough for all types of fishermen.

Tussahaw 3/20/2010
This was the boats waiting to get out of the water today. When Robby signed us out there had been 43 boats signed in. When we got off the water 27 boats had already signed out and all of them except 2 boats had (0) zero fished caught. And yes we were one of the boats that caught fish. We had 4 bass and the other boat had 4 bass. Robby caught a nice 3lb. bass and I caught 3 other bass the biggest one weighing in a 2lbs. I had a blast at the lake and I will be going back to the lake to fish when I have more time. Tomorrow Shane and I are going to Lake Hollis Latham located in Cherokee County around Hwy 69 and Yellow Creek Road.

Fishing Lake Tussahaw
This Friday I have been invited to join a buddy of mine, Robby Turner (BudMan) to come and fish Lake Tussahaw located about 15 miles south of Atlanta in Henry County. Lake Tussahaw has produced some awesome bass over the past two years. To check out videos of Lake Tussahaw just type in "Tussahaw fishing" on YouTube and you will see some nice bass being caught. The only catch is: you have to either be resident of Henry County or go with a resident of Henry county to fish the lake. Permits are granted to Henry County residents.
So I should have my own videos to share after Friday. I put a poll up to see how many bass you think I will catch on Friday.

Welcome
I plan on exploring most of the electric lakes in North Georgia and eventually all electric lakes in Georgia. If anyone has any information about electric lakes in Georgia that you would like me to visit and possibly go fishing with you send me the information. I plan on posting information about each lake and include photos and videos from each lake and trip.
